When You Should Tip an Escort

You might have heard a companion say, “Tips are not necessary, but always appreciated.” Or maybe you’ve heard that you should tip if you experienced exceptional service…but what does that really mean?

I have compiled a non-exhaustive list of reasons why you should tip the companion you’re seeing:

SWDEADCXS

  • They made the time to screen you and see you same-day

  • You arrived late – even if it was unavoidable and you apologized profusely, and they aren’t (or don’t seem to be) upset or annoyed

  • If you had an outfit or grooming request of any kind

  • If she accommodated any sort of proclivities you may have that are not a part of her standard experience (you know exactly what I mean…)

  • If you’re paying in any sort of electronic method (CashApp, Venmo, BTC) as it may require a fee to withdrawal money or there might be a discrepancy in the exchange rate

  • If you really like her and want to leave a good impression so she’ll be really, really excited to see you again (this doesn’t mean she’ll be excited to see you again because money, it means she is excited to see someone who appreciates her and goes above and beyond to show it)

  • If she traveled to you, especially if the commute is over 15 minutes

  • If you exchanged over 10 cumulative emails to set up your date (especially if it was the first date)

  • If she made the time to pre-screen you without any guarantee that you would be scheduling a date with her

  • If she provided any sort of snacks or libations

  • If she has provided a reference for you

  • She helped arrange a duo for you

  • She allowed you to reschedule the date, even if it wasn’t last-minute

  • It’s around the holidays (a little gift goes a long way!)

  • She’s seeing you on a holiday

  • You’re a couple and felt very taken care of by the companion you’re seeing

  • If she was the one researching date activities or making the reservations

  • If she uses hotels as an incall. (Hotels are more expensive than ever!)

  • If she is seeing you outside her normal hours. Or if you are seeing her right at the beginning or end of her regular hours. I have no problem seeing someone earlier in the morning, but chances are I’m having to move a few things around in order accommodate. I might have to wake up extra early in order to have time to get ready, or I might have to put off parts of my morning routine until later.

  • If you have consumed any of her content before meeting her – OnlyFans, podcast she runs or was featured on, Twitter, Instagram, her website, her blog (cough cough), newsletter, porn, videos, whatever. All those things you consume – our tweets, our OF content, our writing – take time and effort and (sometimes) money! Our rate is compensation for our time during the date. A tip tells us that the work that we do outside of appointments is valued.

  • You just had a nice time and a great experience!

So, when should you give her said tip?

If you had an incredible experience together, a tip at the end of the date is lovely. But remember you can always include the tip with the envelope. Why not have it all together and show her that you appreciate and value her right from the beginning? Especially if she has already gone above and beyond before your meeting.

How much should you tip?

I can’t tell you that. That’s up to you. I don’t believe any particular percentage is necessary. All I can say is that in general it’s nice to feel appreciated. Appreciation doesn’t always come in the form of money, but…sometimes it does. I believe in you to make the best choice.

Of course if you’d like to send me a tip, my CashApp is $ANNACARTER35 ;)
